BaseballGuru.com's Braintrust Newsletter, October 2001

Hi Braintrust subscribers!

I promised to share some of the interesting emails I've received and promote all of your baseball interests. So, I removed the under appreciated "wacky baseball stories" section of the clubhouse and replaced it with a reworked "Fans Speak" which I encourage you all to check out. It's my way of sharing emails that might be interesting to others and in time will become more personal for those of you who have your emails made public to others in our little baseball community. This seems to be a better solution than the message boards because I noticed that some advertisers have began infiltrating it, spoiling it's pure baseball sense. I still encourage you to post messages though, because it allows you all to meet without me in the middle.

I've also expanded the bookstore to offer "Amazon's Recommended" baseball books by category. There are lots of new titles and I for one am stoked to read the latest. I also upgraded the web tour by adding some new links and I added a column to the right hand margin of each page with book suggestions that correspond to the subject of the page. You may not realize it, but buy buying through my bookstore instead of directly through Amazon.com, you get the same prices and service but also help keep baseballguru.com up and running.

So, that's what's new. Keep on visiting and keep on emailing!

Sincerely,

Craig Tomarkin
