Back to Batting Forecast Database /  Pitching Forecast Database

How to Read: Forecasts are the first number presented in each field. The subsequent numbers are the player's actual performance in previous years.
How to Search: Search in any field for the player(s) forecasts you want to see and hit <Enter> or click the "search" button at the bottom. You will then see a screen with the best matches where the highest ranked player is listed first. Click on "Details" to view each player. When searching multiple players (e.g. "1B" in the position field), the highest ranking player is listed first.
How to Interpret: About Guru's MLB Player Forecasts.
BATTERS Search BATTER Comparions (see 2 players together)  PITCHERS Search  PITCHER Comparions

Rule #1: Match "Any Field" means OR. Match "All Fields" means AND.
Example: Find catchers in NY. Check "All Fields", "C" for Position, "NY" for Team.
Rule #2: It lists all the players who have your search term within the last 3 years (or in the prediction year) with the highest ranked player first.
Rule #3: It REMEMBERS YOUR PAST SEARCHES. Double click on your search field such as "Player Name" and see list.
Cool searches to try...
Enter "SS" in the POS field to find the highest ranked shortstops.
Enter "Japan" in the Biography field. Is it the WBC yet?
Enter "40" in the Age field to find the highest rated players who were 40 years old within the last 3 years.
Enter ".4" in the OBP field and it finds everyone whose OBP started with .4
Enter ".3" in the Avg field and it finds the highest ranked player who hit at least .300 (or is projected to).
Enter "Pos Lg Rank: 1" in the rank field and it pulls up #1s by position by league.
