Gary Garland's Response

Hi Mandi:

Are you talking about Corey Paul, who won the Triple Crown in the Japanese minors last year for Seibu but this season is playing in Korea? He is currently batting .261 with 11 doubles, two triples, 14 homers and 48 RBIs for Hyundai. He has walked 25 times while striking out on 97 occasions in 92 games (358 total plate appearances). His OBP is .322 and his SLG is .436 for a .758 OPS. He also has two steals. His foreign teammate on the club is Micah Franklin, who has also played in Japan and MLB. To contact Paul, you might try going through the team's website, which is at: http://www.hd-unicorns.co.kr/etc/contact.asp I believe that the first line on the online form is your name and then the next line they want your email address and then on the third line the subject. Then in the big box, put your message. I don't know how effective it will be getting the message to him, but give it a shot.

Good luck,

Gary Garland
