The Irrational League, founded as a motley crew of baseball fanatics waaaaaay
back in 1984, seeks a grizzled veteran owner to guide an absolutely loaded
team into our 19th season of fantasy league fun. Competitive camaraderie is
the name of the game in the Irrational League, so a sense of humor and some
familiarity and experience with traditional 8-category Rotisserie-style
baseball is required.
The Irrational League, headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, will have
9-10 teams in 2002, composed of 23 players each exclusively from the National
League. You could be the owner of a pre-existing team already armed to the teeth
with studs like Vladimir Guerrero, Ken Griffey, Todd Helton, Andruw Jones,
Lance Berkman and Billy Wagner, to name just a few. Unless you completely
blow it on Draft Day, you should have no problem contending with the big dawgs
for the Irrational League championship.

March 1 and preferably sooner. Draft Day is scheduled for Saturday,
April 6 in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you want to be an Irrational
League owner, your attendance at Draft Day is mandatory (we don't
do phone or online drafts).
