Was I dreaming this? Any help you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks, Robert Mike Attiyeh's Response No, Robert you didn't dream up this remarkable scenario. Tyrone Horne, a left-handed-batting outfielder, accomplished such a feat for the Class AA Arkansas Travelers in Texas League action on July 27, 1998 at San Antonio. Horne hit a two-run home run in the first inning, a grand slam in the second inning, a solo shot in the fifth, and a three-run opposite-field homer in the sixth. He struck out in the ninth. Horne's four homers and 10 RBI helped the Travelers rout the Missions, 13-4. Horne went on to win the Texas League home run crown with 37 that year, also driving in 139. He never reached the major leagues. How rare was the performance? According to the Minor League Baseball media relations department, there are no other known instances of such a feat in professional baseball history.
